Where to get the Best Brunch: Deland 2022

Our family loves visiting downtown Deland. We are always looking for a great Deland breakfast restaurant to enjoy, before spending an afternoon shopping on Main Street. From country style omelets, to breakfast tapas spreads, Deland has something for everyone. Settling on one spot to enjoy Sunday brunch in Deland can be hard. Here are our favorite places to enjoy the perfect brunch in Deland.

1. The Table

The Table is the perfect place for breakfast in Deland if you are hungry! Nestled on the corner of New York Avenue, The Table serves clean, southern style food in a casual but elegant setting.

On Saturdays and Sundays they serve “Bottomless Brunch”. For $25 per person, you can share an extraordinary buffet of sausage bread, French toast soufflé, shrimp and grits, and southern fried chicken to name a few. This is by far the most elaborate breakfast in downtown, and its a great place to get a southern Sunday brunch in Deland!

Hours: 10AM – 3PM Saturdays and Sundays

2. De La Vega

Looking for a Latin spin on your Deland brunch? De La Vega in downtown Deland serves brunch on the weekends, and has an unlimited tapas menu. For $19.95, you can try Hibiscus tacos, empanadas, arepas, and chillitos rellenos on an all you can eat menu. If you are less hungry, there are a la carte options like a breakfast burrito and avocado Benedict. The food is delicious, and you can top it off with a full glass of sangria.

3. Doug and Lil’s Potato Patch

If you are looking for a true southern country breakfast, Doug and Lil’s Potato Patch is sure to fit the bill. Family owned, Doug and Lil’s is cash only, casual, and classic. With staples like corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, and country fried steak, Doug and Lil’s is a great place to grab brunch in Deland.

Hours: 7 AM – 2 PM all week, closed Sundays

4. Chicas Cuban Cafe

If you are looking for charm, and a unique place to get brunch in Deland, try Chicas Cuban Cafee. They serve espresso drinks and classic Cuban breakfast. From Pan Con Tortilla, an omelet sandwich on Cuban bread, to Cuban style steak and eggs, there are a variety of standard and Cuban dishes on their menu. Their Cuban coffee and pastries are out of this world.

Hours: Open 9 AM Thursday through Sunday

5. Hunter’s Cafe

Family owned, Hunter’s Cafe has been serving breakfast in Deland since 1949. It is the oldest restaurant in Deland! If you are looking for a rich, home cooked breakfast, Hunter’s Cafe is a great spot. From omelets to pancakes, Hunter’s Cafe serves a classic breakfast in a diner setting with an old fashioned feeling.

Hours: 7 AM – 2 PM every day
