With a cozy atmosphere, Midtown Reader has a great variety of books. Reviews by staff make choosing a book easy and fun. They host five monthly book clubs, and several kids reading activities.

Off the beaten path in Fernandina Beach, the Story & Song Neighborhood bookstore is well worth the stop. Developed as a gathering place for the Amelia Island community, this cozy bookstore has two floors of amazing literary finds.

Established in 1976, this is the best bookstore in Florida to get lost and never come out. With a giant maze of wall to wall books, book lovers can spend entire days combing the selection here.
There is a sister bookstore, Chamblin’s Uptown Cafe which has more of an eclectic vibe. It is smaller, but still impressive with a great coffee shop and breakfast and lunch served daily.

Books and Books, Coral Gables, FL
Independently owned since 1982, Books and Books is the most magical bookstore in Miami. Walls of carefully curated books make this the perfect store to get lost in.
The bookstore centers around a beautiful court yard.
There they have a delightful outdoor cafe that serves beer, wine, coffee and light eats.
Pro Tip: On Wednesday, bottles of wine are half off and happy hour with 5$ appetizers is every day from 4-7.

Sandman Book Company, Punta Gorda
The largest independent bookseller in southwest Florida, Sandman Books is special.
Highlights include a 6 foot high sculptured Roman aqueduct arch made of repurposed books, and a resident cat mascot.
They have an excellent selection of both new and antique books, and a large children’s section, and there is something for everyone here.
