The Excalibur Hotel is one of the cheapest hotels on the Strip. The rooms are older, and the hotel itself is a bit run down. Its a reasonable place to stay if you need a bed for a night and are on a budget.

6. Caesars Palace


Caesars Palace has a great location mid strip, and features some really cool theming. From Michelangelo’s David, to the Trevi Fountain, replicas from Rome are scattered throughout the hotel and the property. Access to the Forum Shops is convenient, and there are great restaurants, some from celebrity chefs.
The Fall of Atlantis animatronic show plays hourly in the Forum Shops, and is a fun free thing to do with kids. Overall Caesars Palace is a great option for folks who like a good theme, and want to be in the middle of everything.

7. The Mirage
The Mirage is a Polynesian themed resort that has some pretty magical features. Ever night between 8 PM and 11 PM, there is a volcano show in the lagoon in front of the hotel. Inside the Mirage hotel, you are treated with a lush tropical atrium with beautiful plants and palm trees. There is also 20,000 gallon salt water fish tank that they maintain. You might even see some sharks.


The Mirage Hotel is in a good location on the North strip, and has some nice theming that will transport you a bit away from the hustle and bustle of a Las Vacation. It is definitely one of the best themed hotels in Las Vegas.

8. The Bellagio
