As a Florida family, we love spending time in Disney World. One of our favorite things to do is to book a sitter and enjoy an adult night out! There are lots of restaurants in Disney World, but only some geared towards adults. However, if you know where to look, some of the best restaurants in Orlando are located on Disney property. Disney is the perfect place to enjoy a date night or an adult night with friends. This is a list of our eleven best Disney World restaurants for adults to enjoy a night out.

California Grill – Contemporary Resort
The California Grill is one of our absolute favorite Disney World restaurants for adults. Located on the top level of the Contemporary Resort (one of the Disney Deluxe Resorts), it has truly spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom. The food is impeccable, cocktails are amazing, and the setting is unmatched. They serve classic Californian cooking, with clean, elegant proteins, and an interesting sushi menu.
Pro Tip: If you book in the evening, you can go out on their terrace and get a breathtaking view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. If your meal is earlier, you can show your receipt and come back up to enjoy the show.

Jiko – Animal Kingdom Lodge
Jiko the Cooking Place serves African flavors in a high end setting. Located in the Animal Kingdom Lodge in the Jambo House (one of our favorite Disney Deluxe Resorts), it has a really cool design with dark moody colors and sculptured birds hanging from the ceiling.
The service is impeccable, and the food is amazing. The menu is meat forward, with choices ranging from Moroccan Lamb Shank to Botswanan Seswaa Short Rib. They pair their meals with an extensive wine list. We have found it one of the most romantic and unique Disney World restaurants for adults.
This is also a great restaurant for a corporate dinner, as they have several more private tables that can accommodate bigger parties.

Victoria & Albert’s – The Grand Floridian
No post about Disney World restaurants for adults would be complete without mentioning Victoria and Albert’s. Located in the Grand Floridian (Disney’s flagship Deluxe Resort), Victoria & Albert’s is fine dining at its best. It is well respected in the fine dining community, and is the only restaurant in Florida to have received the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star awards.





The restaurant offers the full fine dining experience, with a tasting menu and available wine pairings. Children under 10 are not allowed in the restaurant. There is a harpist that often plays during meals, adding to the rich ambiance.
Expect perfection when dining at Victoria & Albert’s, but also expect to pay upwards of $300 per person if you want the full experience. They closed during the pandemic, but are planning a reopening June 2022 with some changes to their dining room. If you are looking for true romance and an experience you won’t forget, go for it and book a table.

Pro Tip: If you are lucky enough to stay at the Grand Floridian Resort, don’t miss the newly renovated spa that opened in January of 2022. With a Florida garden theme, and a full service menu, The Grand Floridian Spa is the perfect way to level up an adult only Disney experience.
Tiffins – Animal Kingdom Park
Tiffins is our favorite hidden gem in the Disney Parks. Located at the entrance to Pandora in Animal Kingdom, it is a true refuge from the hustle and bustle of Disney World.
While kids and families are certainly welcome at Tiffins, it is one of the best Disney World restaurants for adults. With global cuisine, adults will enjoy masterfully cooked meals in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Don’t skip the Tiffins Signature Bread Service! Pair it with a specialty cocktail like the Annapurna Zing and you will be in foodie heaven.
Pro Tip: If you don’t want to sit for a meal, at least stop for a drink. Their outdoor lounge is romantic and the perfect spot for adults to enjoy some interesting cocktails while people watching the crowds to and from Pandora.

Le Cellier Steakhouse – EPCOT Center
When in EPCOT, there is no better place to tuck away for a romantic meal than Le Cellier. It is located in the Canada Pavillion, and is the only steakhouse you can find inside the Disney parks. While kids are welcome, the staff tries to accommodate adults with some privacy, and many people choose Le Cellier for their anniversary or honeymoon celebrations.
The menu features several different cuts of steak, as well as other steakhouse classics like Iceberg Wedge Salad, and sides like Creamed Spinach and Maple Whiskey-glazed Brussels Sprouts.

Topolino’s Terrace – The Riviera Resort


If you are looking for a date night, Topolino’s Terrace is a great new addition to Disney World’s restaurants for adults. Located on the top floor of the Riviera, the restaurant features beautiful views of both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.


They feature Italian seafood and pastas in a romantic atmosphere. The service and ambiance is exceptional. Adults will also enjoy their lovely patio and lounge which has serves cocktails in a comfortable setting overlooking the water below.

STK – Disney Springs


STK is one of the most adult friendly restaurants in Disney Springs. It’s a great place for a date night, or a corporate meeting on Disney property.
With a modern, chic setting, STK offers classic cocktails, indulgent appetizers, and high end steaks. From raw bar selections to Wagyu beef, the food at STK is excellent quality and well prepared. It comes with a higher price tag, but its the perfect place to dine out in Disney without kids.

Wine Bar George – Disney Springs


Conceived by Master Sommelier George Miliotes, Wine Bar George is the home to an award winning wine list and one of the best Disney World restaurants for adults. Located in Disney Springs, Wine Bar George is a haven for adults to enjoy a drink and a meal after a long day at the parks.
While guests have the option of enjoying cheese or charcuterie, Wine Bar George also offers a nice selection of small plates, and several entrees if you are looking for dinner. We recommend Wine Bar George to adults looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the Disney parks in a chic and trendy setting. They also have a quick service window if you want to grab some wine and cheese on the go.

Blue Zoo – The Dolphin
This is our personal favorite Disney World restaurant for adults, and its a bit of a secret find. Located in the Dolphin, Blue Zoo is fun, whimsical, and elegant. It’s perfect for a date night or a corporate dinner.
Expect fun cocktails and hors d’oeuvres prepared in creative ways in the lounge and bar area. The dining room is classy, and serves fish, steak, and other fresh seafood items. We love the creativity in Todd English’s dishes, and something smokey, colorful, or playful always shows up on the table. If you are staying in the EPCOT resort area, definitely consider Blue Zoo for a delicious adult dinner.

Brown Derby – Hollywood Studios


A tribute to the Golden Age of Hollywood, the Brown Derby is a tribute to the original restaurant in Los Angeles. With brown paneled walls and caricatures of famous actors, the restaurant is a classy tribute to its roots and a fun place for adults to dine in Hollywood Studios.
While its hard to escape kids within the Disney Parks, this is the best place in Hollywood Studios for adults to enjoy a classic cocktail and a nice meal. With high end meals like Filet Mignon and Coq au Vin and a solid wine list, the Brown Derby is a great Disney World restaurant for adults to try if visiting the Hollywood Studios park.

Skipper’s Canteen – Magic Kingdom


So full disclosure, you can’t escape kids at the Magic Kingdom. However, when Magic Kingdom added beer and wine to some of there restaurants in 2018, we were the first in line! Our favorite spot in Magic Kingdom that hits the needs of adults is Skipper’s Canteen.
With corny Jungle Cruise jokes, global inspired meals, and Sangria on the menu, Skipper’s Canteen is a decent Disney World restaurant for adults if you are spending the day in the Magic Kingdom.
