Beer and Alcohol at Magic Kingdom – The Secret Spots!

three glasses of red wine in a wine flight at Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom

It’s hot, it’s crowded, the kids are crying, and you are gearing up for a 60 minute wait for the Jungle Cruise. You really need a beer. Well, you are in luck! The Magic Kingdom is no longer a dry park! Beer and alcohol at Magic Kingdom are available, you just have to know where to find it.

If you plan your day right, you can enjoy alcohol with lunch and dinner, and add a little adulting to your Magic Kingdom experience. Here are our tips to finding alcohol at the Magic Kingdom.

Alcohol at Magic Kingdom – The Good News and the Bad News

In 2012, the Magic Kingdom went from being a dry park to serving beer and wine. Since then, most table service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom have started to sell alcohol. That’s the good news.

What’s the bad news? Unless you are a Disney VIP and member of Club 33 (Let’s face it – you probably aren’t if you’re reading this blog), the only place you can get alcohol in the Magic Kingdom is during a sit down meal.

Personally, our perfect Disney day includes stopping every 3-4 hours for a snack and a drink in the air conditioning, so this isn’t the end of the world. It just means you need to plan your day a bit in advance.

Restaurants in Magic Kingdom that Serve Alcohol

Skipper’s Canteen

The newer kid on the block, Skipper’s Canteen is one of our favorite restaurants in the Magic Kingdom. It’s on our list of best adult “friendly” restaurants in Disney World.

With an African Asian fusion menu featuring curry and falafel, their food is a touch more interesting than what you can get in the rest of the park.
