Our family loves Disney Springs. It is this magical place where nice cocktails, high end meals, and fun loving kids can coexist in harmony. With over 20 different restaurants to choose from, it can be overwhelming to pick where to go with children. Whether you are looking for kitschy and themed, or celebrity chef fine dining, there is something for everyone. This is a list of the top 9 Disney Springs kid friendly restaurants at the top of our list.
Disney Springs Kid Friendly Restaurants: Themed and Fun
We love a good theme. Drinking a Mai Tai in a jungle, or a snacking on a quesadilla in a dinosaur ice cave brings out the kid in all of us. Here are three Disney Springs kid friendly restaurants that are packed with themed fun.
1. T-Rex Cafe

With a completely immersive prehistoric experience, the T-Rex Cafe is a must do if your kids are into dinosaurs. Even if they aren’t, this place is pretty visually amazing.
With three different dining areas, you have the opportunity of dining in a lush dinosaur forest, a glittering blue ice cave, or a fiery meteor room.

There is also a giant dinosaur store and a digging area in front of the restaurant for little kids to search for fossils (one of the funnest free things to do at Disney Springs). Food is basic, but you pay for the experience. If you are at all thinking about this place, just go, its worth it. It’s definitely our favorite kid friendly restaurant in Disney Springs.
Kid Food Highlights: Cosmo’s Cheesy Macaroni, Dexter Corn Dogs, Lava Lasagna, Paleo Pizza

2. Planet Hollywood

Planet Hollywood is a place for fun. It has three floors of movie memorobilia that open up on a giant movie screen. The movie screen plays music videos, announcements, and sing-a-long songs! If you don’t mind taking a YMCA break in the middle of appetizers, this is the place for you.

The food is average at best, but if you are looking for a fun, loud, easy place to bring kids, we recommend Planet Hollywood. Our family always has a good time here.
Kid Food Highlights: Big Dipper Milk Shakes, High Roller Appetizer Sampler (Actually looks like a ferris wheel!)

3. Rainforest Cafe
Who doesn’t love Rainforest Cafe? You get to dine immersed in the jungle surrounded by monkeys, elephants, and butterflies, and every 20 minutes there is a lightning storm where the animals come alive.
The Rainforest Cafe also has a large gift store to browse while you are waiting. Don’t miss the Talking Tree at the front of the store who has a message every thirty second. It’s fun to visit, even if you don’t decide to dine there.
Kid Food Highlights: Jurassic Chicken TidBits (shaped like dinosaurs!), Gorilla Grilled Cheese Delight, Macaroni & Cheese
